The Red Lion Inn has been providing food and lodging since c. 1773, and is one of the few inns in New England operating continuously since the 18th century. Since that time the Inn has had several names, but a red lion has always graced its sign and the current name has been used since around 1900. As immortalized in Norman Rockwell's painting Main Street, Stockbridge.
The Red Lion Inn offers 109 guest rooms and suites in a variety of styles, in both the main building and several adjacent guest houses.
