
The Inn was designed during the Arts and Crafts Movement by one of the areas leading architects, George Helmle. The buildings founder was Miss Bell Miller, a turn-of- the-century local businesswoman and florist to Springfields high society. By December of 1909, Bell had created one of Springfields premier residences, with airy verandahs, exquisite oak detailing, and massive fireplaces to warm the heart. Today, this stylish, Classical Revival structure has been fully renovated The Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
