hotel on Mackinac Island. As tourism grew, the hotel was moved in from the shore
Recommended by AAA and registered as a State of Michigan Historic Landmark, The Island House is the only hotel on Mackinac Island that is located within the boundaries of the Mackinac Island State Park.
The Island House's two-bedroom suites have a king-size bed in one room, two queen-size beds in the other, two bathrooms and a whirlpool spa. In addition, the living room features a sofa that opens to a queen-size bed, a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
Premium rooms overlook the water and they are the largest in the hotel, while Deluxe rooms vary in size, some of which over look the water. Traditional rooms are located throughout the hotel and are available with a variety of bed choices.
