A historic first-generation skyscraper. A restored Grand Hotel in the center of New Orleans. Le Pavillon Hotel is a short walk to the French Quarter, Mississippi Riverfront attractions, and the St. Charles Avenue Streetcars. The hotel has the largest gas lantern in the United States, which hangs burning at the front porch.

Noteworthy, among the hotel's collection of historic antiques, are a portrait of a lady of the French Court that hangs in the Crystal Room. Two stipulations to the hotel's purchase of the painting were that it would never leave New Orleans and that it be the only painting of a woman in the room where it was to be hung.

219 guest rooms and 7 Suites, all with dining table, desk, clock radio, dataport, hair dryer, safe, robes. Each suite has its own theme (plantation home, medieval castle, etc.) and is decorated with original artwork and antiques.
